59 artworks, the inspiration for 59 stories

KAOS Artists invited members of the Creative Writing courses at Kingston Adult Education in Surbiton to create stories, poems and flash fiction, taking their inspiration from 59 artworks, which included paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, ceramics and sculpture.

The resulting exhibition at the Menier Gallery in central London is a testimony to their combined creative collaboration.

The artists are some of the members from four art groups based in Kingston, Kew, Merton and the surrounding areas: KAOS Artists, Hawks Road Artists based at ASC Studios Kingston, Kew Studio and Merton Arts Festival.
